Terms of Service

SpokeHub is a marketplace that connects homeowners requesting home-service work with independent contractors. SpokeHub is not a contractor, does not perform, supervise, or guarantee the quality of any work performed by a contractor found through the platform, and is not a party to the agreement a homeowner and contractor reach with each other.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under your login. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their business, licensing, and insurance information — SpokeHub’s license/insurance-expiry tracking is a reminder tool, not independent verification, unless a specific deployment has connected a real licensing-registry or background-check provider (see Privacy Policy, “Who we share it with”).

Where offered, the SpokeHub Guarantee process lets a homeowner file a claim if work was not completed, of poor quality, or a no-show occurred, for admin review. Honest limitation: unless this deployment has a funded reserve or an insurance-underwriting partnership in place, an approved claim is recorded as a simulated reimbursement for demonstration and operational purposes, not an automatic real payout — see the project’s README “What’s NOT production-ready” section for current status.

Contractor wallet top-ups and payouts are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. Lead pricing and subscription plan pricing are as displayed on the Pricing page at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated otherwise at the time of the transaction.

Don’t use SpokeHub to submit false contact information, impersonate another person or business, circumvent the platform to avoid fees after being matched through it, scrape or bulk-extract listings, or attempt to bypass rate limiting, authentication, or other security controls.

Draft messages, quotes, category suggestions, and photo captions produced by SpokeHub’s AI Coworker features are suggestions a human sends, edits, or discards — SpokeHub does not represent them as professional advice, and a contractor remains responsible for anything actually sent or quoted under their account.

SpokeHub is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpokeHub disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, or representations of any contractor or homeowner using the platform, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use.

You may stop using SpokeHub at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, fraud, or abuse of the platform or other users.
